LOCATION: Eldon Garden
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday To Sunday between 0700-1900, 30 hours per week
PAY RATE: £10.42 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
We are looking to appoint a proactive Janitor to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff. This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Waste management in line with on-site process and achieve recycling targets
· Use of on-site equipment including ride on scrubber drier, buffer and carpet cleaner
· Operating company machinery including scrubber drier and walk behind scrubber, along with Site Compactor.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the centre.
· Maintain the cleanliness within the service yard and areas
· Assist client and retailers with the removal of items requiring disposal.
· Take an active role in emergency situations including Fire Warden tasks
· Work with on site and ad hoc contractors, maintaining a professional and courteous manner
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal.
· Excellent time management
· Smart and well presented.
· High level of customer care awareness
