The Role –Cleaning Supervisor
AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join our cleaning team at our client’s prestigious food production site in Bispham
This is a Fulltime Permanent role 37.5hours per week – the suitable candidate would be available to work on a rota basis which can include weekends as the shift times may change due to the business needs ( Sunday rate of pay £13.42)
Duties/Key Responsibilities
To manage and work with a team to provide professional cleaning services to our client to a high stand at all times by completing all aspects of cleaning on site
- As a Working Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning activities of a team of cleaners across the site
- Manage and deliver daily/weekly working hours
- Complete daily/periodic cleaning tasks including production/food preparation areas and Packaging areas,
- Staff changing area including boot washroom
- Complete cleaning of fridges, freezers inc walk-in chiller freezers.
- Adhere to all in-house Health and Safety Environmental policies and procedures.
- Managing the core functions of the Contract Cleaning ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and that the cleaning team works efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that equipment is used safely and maintained to the required standard by the Cleaning Team and that it is repaired appropriately as and when required
- Use cleaning materials in accordance with company health and safety and COSHH regulations
Skills Required
- Experience of leading and motivating a team
- Take appropriate and decisive managerial action after considering a range of options
- Food safety hygiene level 2 would be an advantage
- You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
- IT literate as will be dealing with emails and staff rotas and general administration.
- Key Holder experience
- Good timekeeping and attendance are both essential.
- Remain calm, objective and in control in stressful situations
- Respond positively to and learn from change, be receptive to new ideas

Expected salary: £42 – 12.42 per hour
