Job description: MinsterFB is looking for is looking for a Commercial Analyst to support their strong growth.
They are seeking a highly numerate, curious individual to support their clients with financial reconciliation, analysis and proactive management of charges and deductions.
You will be collating and analysing data in both Excel and an online tool and then using your knowledge to challenge and track any disputes and feedback internally on a regular basis.
Responsible for collating data, creating client reporting and presenting to internal stakeholders on a monthly basis.
This is a relatively new role to the business, reporting to the Operations Director so there’s opportunity to shape the detail of the role whilst also being trained within a supportive learning environment.
Amazon Deductions is a complex area for suppliers to the world’s largest online retailer yet critical for financial success.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
You will:
- Extract, validate and report financial information
- Resolve sometimes conflicting information to establish the receipt figure for each account on a monthly basis and enter into the hub
- Validate Amazon Audits for our clients
- Analyse account deductions to find errors and dispute any inconsistencies
- Prepare & deliver analysis for monthly feedback to clients
- Own, maintain and develop advanced Excel models to support in the above
Desired Qualification:
- Preferably Educated to Degree Level with evidence of ability in Maths and an affinity with online/ IT being advantageous
- If you are not a graduate you will be considered if you have a history of delivery in a similar environment
Desired Skills:
Our ideal candidate:
- Interest in financial modelling, accounting or commercial
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and to prioritise workload
- Confident use of Powerpoint, Word and especially Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Location:
- The Job is office based in our Southwell office a minimum of two days a week, when working from home you will be staying in regular contact through Zoom and MS Teams. This job unapologetically online / on screen.
- However with the flexibility that fantastic global internet coverage provides you will be able to work remotely anywhere in the world for up to 4 consecutive weeks a year.
- In addition employees are entitled to a 3mth unpaid sabbatical after 4 years of continuous employment.
- We have a tight supportive culture that is strengthened through face to face interactions if you are unable to work two days a week from Southwell please don’t apply.
- For the first 2 weeks of your employment you will be required in the office everyday while you get to know the company and meet all of your colleagues.
Salary & Other Benefits:
- £24,000 p.a.
- Annual holiday entitlement is 33 days (inclusive of bank/public holidays) in the complete holiday year
- 3pm finish on a Friday
Job Details:
- Work hours are, Monday to Thursday 9am until 5.30pm, Friday 9am until 3pm
