Job description: Role – Commercial/proposals admin supportThe purpose of this role is to assist and provide bid support in tendering for new business. Supporting the day to day management and control of proposals within the Commercial Department.Key Accountabilities· Produce Tender Submissions as directed by Head of Commercial· Edit larger proposals to ensure consistency of text, liaise with other departments and bidding teams as necessary· Collate information/ text used for proposals to ensure easy availability for future proposals.· Prepare weekly tendering summary, bid availability and project reviews and fee bidding reports· Prepare agenda, chair and take minutes at regular Gate Meetings: arrange, attend and chair ad-hoc Gate Meetings as necessary.· Assist in preparing reports for directors and work winners as necessary· Respond to internal and external requests for information· Provide administration support as necessary to commercial processes / systems.· Develop relationships with Client Procurement TeamsQualifications /Experience Required / Person AttributesQualifications and Experience:· GCSE’s in Maths and English – Essential· Experience in Proposals Management – Desirable· 2 years’ experience in a Business Administration environment – Essential.· Proficient in IT and Microsoft Packages – EssentialQualifications and Experience:· GCSE’s in Maths and English – Essential· Experience in Proposals Management – Desirable· 2 years’ experience in a Business Administration environment – Essential.· Proficient in IT and Microsoft Packages – EssentialCompetences:Technical Expertise:

  • Ability to develop and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the products and services offered by TSP.
  • Commercial awareness in relation to bid requirements and customer relationships (Non-Disclosure Agreements / Confidentiality Agreements / Terms and Conditions).
  • Ability to check the accuracy of own and others’ work.
  • Ability to use systems to organise and keep track of information or work progress.
  • Undertake appropriate preparation for meetings and presentations.
  • Understanding and ability to use IT Systems including Microsoft Office and internal Document Management Systems.

Expected salary: £24000 per year
