Job description: We are looking for a positive and driven Sales Controller to join our team at Hendy Van Store in Salisbury. If you are looking for an exciting and rewarding career, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

The Opportunity:

You will be accountable for developing and driving the performance of the Used Commercial Sales team, with a key focus on achieving circa 150 retail units sales per year whilst ensuring your team deliver an industry leading finance penetration & attachment product sales. You will also play a key role in supporting the Sales Manager to ensure colleagues remain motivated, engaged & developed. This is a fantastic prospect for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales professional either currently working within a similar role or ready to take that next step in their career.

About You:

Previous experience in used vehicle sales would be highly advantageous, however if you are passionate about developing the business and know how to get the best out of your team, possessing the below skills and behaviours will allow you to succeed:

• A proven track record in the automotive industry at similar role is desired;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels;
• A thorough understanding of financial and insurance product regulations, although full training will be given;
• Motivation to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives;
• FCA accreditation (which can be achieved within Group); and
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
