Role requirementsAs a Community Care Worker you’ll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll need:

  • At least 6 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
  • A valid Moving and Handling certificate
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence and have reliable access to a personal vehicle

You could make a difference to an individual’s lifeOur service user is a sociable and friendly individual who loves company. She is fully reliant on others and will require the support of her dedicated carers to enable her to make choices in relation to her care, such as what to eat and drink or what activities she would like to do. We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic and compassionate carer to join our friendly team.In this role, you will be delivering person-centred care in the home of a young female service user who is diagnosed with unspecified Global Developmental Delay, as well as language and communication needs which impacts her memory, cognition, capacity and insight. As her carer, you will be required to assist with personal care needs, medication, dietary support and enabling her to access the community.

Expected salary: £49 – 18.49 per hour
