Job description: Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen within Facilities Management at Stirling Council for a Community Caretaker. The post will involve providing caretaking services within the Halls and Centres team on a 35 hour per week basis in support of the local community. Working hours for the post will be on a shift basis working Monday to Friday between the hours of 0800-2200 paid at Stirling Council Grade 4. Occasional weekend working may be required. Personal protective equipment will be provided and training where necessary. Applicants will need to be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms a large part of the role, and be prepared at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. Applicants must also have a current driving licence. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.

Expected salary: £23202 – 23679 per year
