Job description: Are you an individual who is passionate about building relationships in the community, using football to engage, motivate and support young people?

We are looking for community coaches, who would be offered employment on a sessional basis, to deliver on the provisions offered across South and Central Bristol. The areas of delivery we are looking for sessional staff for include;

· Holiday camps

· Women and Girls

· Disability

· Youth engagement

· Health and wellbeing

· Primary school delivery (curriculum and afterschool)

With the need growing in Bristol, and in turn, our provision expanding, we are in search for coaches who can support our programmes on a sessional basis during school term time, and on holiday camps during school holidays. Sessions take place during the school day, afterschool, on an evening, and on weekends.

Your main responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver football-based sessions.
· Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive and support the needs of the groups you are working with.
· Create and develop strong relationships with participants to continue to engage with us in a meaningful way.
· Record session registers and other participant data, safely and securely.

You will have:

· An FA Level 1 in Football Coaching
· In date FA Safeguarding
· In date FA First Aid
· Additional qualifications in the specific field of delivery would be advantageous
· A proven ability to deliver high quality coaching sessions that engage and foster an inclusive environment
· Experience of working with underrepresented groups of people in sport and physical activity
· Experience of developing and maintaining working relationships with participants and colleagues
· An understanding of safeguarding and health and safety
· A proven ability to work to under pressure
· A commitment to supporting young people, and the principles of equality and diversity
· Self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative
· Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
· Proven planning and organization skills.
· IT literate
· Access to their own transport including full UK driving license

The position may involve working irregular hours (e.g. Evenings / Weekends) so flexibility is important.

Pay – £10 – £15 per hour depending on the project being worked on and experience/qualifications.
