Job title: Community Events and Fundraising Officer (maternity cover)

Job description: This role is based in the UK on a remote homeworking contract or based in our London office. If the role is based in the London office, you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days.

The salary quoted is for remote working but if based in our London office, the salary will be £38,453.

About the role

This exciting role involves designing and delivering engaging community fundraising products and resources, working alongside other teams to ensure fundraising messaging and objectives are aligned.

The post-holder will contribute to strengthening Christian Aid’s community fundraising portfolio as a whole. This involves supporting with the operational delivery of projects like our Harvest, Christmas and emergency appeals, DIY fundraising and challenge events such as the London Marathon.

About you

You are a curious individual keen to innovate the world of fundraising. You have knowledge and experience of delivering successful community fundraising campaigns and/or challenge events. You are a confident copy writer, with the ability to influence, inspire, negotiate and build consensus at multiple levels. You are able to work cross-organisationally and to think innovatively and strategically about how to engage Christian Aid supporters.
