Job description: A wonderful organisation that supports local community members with disabilities and mental health issues is in search of a Part-time Community Fundraising Manager. Harris Hill are delighted to assist them with their recruitment. This role is perfect for an experienced fundraiser looking to lend their skills for 15 hours a week to generate income for a fantastic cause.
In this role, you will identify and organise fundraising events and activities, helping local groups and individuals to fundraise on behalf of the charity. You will use your exceptional communication skills to build strong working relationships with local business, groups and individuals – giving talks, representing the charity at events, producing some communication materials – to raise the profile and engagement of the organisation. You will be self-motivated but a team player, happy to get involved across the organisation, social and personable, and you will have a proven track record of successful fundraising experience.
This is a relatively small (45-50 members of staff across 3 local sites) but very hardworking organisation, with a very friendly and relaxed team who support each other and work collaboratively on cross-organisational projects. The organisation provides invaluable support for people with disabilities or issues with mental health and wellbeing – offering support, advice, and facilities to improve their lives. Salary: £30,000 FTE (c.£12k pro rata)
Contract Type: part-time, 15 hours a week (open to negotiate)
