We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Community Investment and Tenancy Sustainment team.

On a day to day basis, you will lead and manage a team of field-based Community Connectors and Tenancy Sustainment Officers. You will be supporting the Operations Manager to develop and deliver community investment and tenancy sustainment activities within our neighbourhoods and individually to our customers.

You will work towards creating sustainable neighbourhoods, with partnership working which positively impacts our customers and their communities. Collaborating with the Operations Manager, you will develop measurable outcomes to support us in maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving compliance with regulatory standards for community development and tenancy sustainment. You will be working in partnership with colleagues and housing teams across LiveWest to ensure our services are delivered in line with our strategic aims, values, policies, and operational standards, improving outcomes for our customers.

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Exeter office. A hybrid working style is an option and travel will be required across the Devon area.

About The Candidate

You will have the skills, knowledge and experience required for a Level 2 – Supervisor/Team Managers role, along with the below role specific requirements:-

  • Ability to demonstrate skills to support individuals.
  • Experience of working successfully across teams.
  • Experience of managing a dispersed team.
  • Understanding/experience of supporting vulnerable customers
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Housing Association sector. (D)
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to prioritise.
  • Demonstrable experience of budget management.
  • Understanding of positive partnership working leading to positive community led activities and outcomes.
  • Understanding of good partnership working leading to positive opportunities for individuals and their communities.
  • Understanding of community investment and its role within our business.
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to improve customer and community satisfaction.
  • Good IT skills including knowledge of MS office suite.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
  • Proficient level of literacy and numeracy.
  • CIH / HNC in Housing or relevant equivalent expertise through experience and study. (D)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Expected salary: £34900 – 38800 per year
