Our client, based in Stone, has a 3-month, fixed-term contract for a Community Safety Officer to support the delivery of the corporate objectives within their Safety Plan.

The role of Community Safety Officer is an exciting opportunity and will involve using in-house systems to log information accurately and your duties will also include:
- Working with partners, including vulnerable individuals and families through case conferences
- Evidence gathering and recording then implementing solutions to support the community
- Working alongside other team members to plan and deliver outcomes in an effective manner
- Maintaining awareness of prevention actions plans and taking responsibility for the delivery of these
- Taking the lead and chairing meetings in relation to community concerns
- Operating admin systems to refer concerns that have been highlighted by operations personnel and technicians
- Representing the client at partnership meetings which will involve sharing best practice and data
- Managing a caseload assigned following home visits and taking ownership of recording each case
- Providing training when required and supporting the delivery of prevention training
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
- Experience of delivering and presenting to varied audiences
- Ability to use intelligence and data to drive initiatives
- A full driving licence is ESSENTIAL with access to own vehicle and Business use insurance
- Previous experience of working with key partners and vulnerable people would be advantageous
- Previous experience or knowledge of safety initiatives would be good to see
- Ability to work as part of a team and alone
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Able to record meeting minutes accurately
- Attention to detail skills
- Ability to attend training courses as required
