About the RoleThe post will lead on statutory Domestic Homicide Reviews on behalf of the Community Safety Partnership, coordinate & deliver actions for the DHR Assurance and Learning and Implementation Group and Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences and the MARAC Steering Group.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Understanding of DVA as a gender based crime and the additional impact of intersectionality, complexity and disadvantage on individuals and communities.Knowledge of Domestic Homicide Reviews policy, legislation and strategy and the ability to deliver these locally.Experience of policy, procedure, strategy development and SMART action planning with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.Experience of organising, setting agendas, minuting & facilitating meetings and writing and presenting briefings, training and complex reports to decision making boards.Excellent partnership working (including the voluntary and community sectors) and people management skills, including effective challenge and conflict resolution.– A NPPV (Non-Police Personal Vetting) is required for this postYou can find the job description for this postAt Nottingham City Council we believe that work is what you do, not where you do it.
