Job title: Community Safety Support Officer

Job description: The community safety team help co-ordinate the Wyre Community safety partnership, which includes representatives from the Police, Fire and Rescue, Health, Lancashire County Council and Probation services with the overall aim of reducing crime within the Borough. The team also manages the CCTV control room which covers Town centres in both Wyre & Fylde providing real time information to the police and undertaking CCTV downloads for evidential purposes as and when required.

The position for a part time Community Safety Support Officer, offers an exciting opportunity to join a busy team which helps ensure Wyre is a safe place to live and work.

The position requires excellent interpersonal skills together with a good IT and administrative background. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
