The Birmingham Community Support Team provides floating support to a wonderful and diverse selection of customers offering them individualised support packages to help them live independently and with dignity. We are currently recruiting for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, working 30 hours per week – we are flexible how the 30 hours are spread across the week, and we are more than happy to discuss this in more detail with you.Where are we basedWe work across Birmingham in the community with this role providing floating support to our customers.No two days are the sameAs a Community Support Worker, you will help individuals with:

  • Access to Leisure activities.
  • Accessing local services
  • Staying well.
  • Attaining and maintaining housing.
  • Supporting them into employment.
  • Supporting with life skills such as shopping or paying bills.
  • Attending appointments and more.
