This new, part-time (12 hours per week, 0.3288 FTE) role is available immediately on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The hours of work can be any 12 hours within an 8-5 basis, over 2-3 days a week.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

The Data Research Hub (the Hub) is an IT portal, used during research projects. The Hub is supported by expert staff from a number of difference services to ensure it operates effectively (Information Governance, IT, IIB and Research Services) and this post holder will support the coordination of all aspects of effective hub management, including ensuring quality, continuous improvement and compliance with ISO27001.
Summary of the role
The post holder will be a key liaison point for all matters relating to the hub and will support hub customers to ensure they are on boarded, receive training and have a point of contact for ongoing support. In addition the post holder will link the key departments of IT, IIB, Research and UCS together to ensure all requirements of ISO27001 are fully met.
The post holder will ensure that all governance requirements of the hub are in place, that audits are completed according to the timetable and that there is ongoing continuous improvement. They will monitor policies are in date and report quality metrics to the group overseeing the Hub.
About you
We are looking for an organized and diligent individual who can plan and monitor against a core set of governance criteria. You will enjoy seeking feedback from customers in order to improve their user experience and you will also take pride in ensuring all matters of the hub are coordinated effectively. You may have had experience with ISO 27001 (or other ISO / quality charters) or be willing to learn quickly.
