Pay to Welsh Teacher Framework, starting from £157.66/day.

A high performing secondary school in Penarth is looking for an excellent Computer Science and/or IT Specialist to take on a Maternity Cover position, starting in December. The school are looking for a teacher to cover the position until the end of the academic year.

Role and Responsibilities

The school are looking for a proactive and dedicated member of staff to join their thriving Technology Department to cover a timetable of Computer Science and IT, teaching mostly KS3 Level IT and GCSE Computer Science with some KS4 classes. Your duties will include planning, preparation and marking for the duration of the role.

**This Maternity Cover is due to begin around the middle of December, continuing through to July 2024 **

Requirements

– PGCE/QTS with relevant degree

– Previous IT and/or Computer Science teaching experience

– 2 x professional teaching references

– Enhanced DBS (with Update Service)

– Registration with the EWC
