Our client is a well-established international law firm.

THE ROLE

Handling contentious matters and dispute advisory work up to and including ADR, expert and determination and adjudications (plus enforcement proceedings in the TCC), dealing with wide range of matters including final account and delay claims, quality of build claims, construction insolvency, bond claims, ACM cladding, professional indemnity and other insurance-related claims.

Dealing with standard form contracts (JCT, RIBA, CIC, FIDEC), professional appointments and collateral warranties.

Working for developers and developer contractors, professional consultants and some specialist sub-contractors in respect of commercial and residential development schemes.

ABOUT YOU

A lawyer with a mainly contentious construction background, you will have 3PQE+ and be looking to join a collegial and successful team going from strength-to-strength.

Able to hit the ground running, you will have a strong academic background, ideally gaining a 2:1 at degree level and a postgraduate course in construction law will be advantageous.

This role is for a self-motivated lawyer who has enthusiasm for business development and building the business.

Expected salary: £105000 – 120000 per year
