We are recruiting for an established commercial firm in Manchester looking to add a Construction Partner to take a key role in the office.

This leading regional commercial firm has an excellent reputation across all key commercial disciplines. It has been able to attract lawyers from large national and international practices who have brought some exceptional clients. They have been attracted by the quality of the brand, and opportunity to have autonomy over managing their clients and shaping the direction of the team – which national firms often struggle to offer.

There is already a construction offering, with work available. There is a need now for an additional Partner to drive forward the construction profile and play a key role in the direction of the team going forward. The strong platform means there are clients to tap into, but the opportunity is all about taking the practice to the next level – adding client relationships and helping to build measured growth, as well as supporting junior lawyers with their career development.

The business has enjoyed strong growth in recent years and is on a very strong financial footing. This is allowing the senior management team to be strategic and focused on long term growth opportunities, hence the desire now to invest in construction and further growth. As well as looking at an established Partner, the firm is also keen to speak to anyone at Senior Associate/Legal Director level looking to take a step up.

The key to the role is finding the right person who will fit with the strong existing culture, and has the ambition and mindset to buy into the growth strategy of the firm.
