Job description: The Green Recruitment Company have been exclusively engaged by a leading UK developer, owner, and operator of Bioenergy Assets in the UK – to support their continued growth across the UK.
In addition to the existing portfolio, the business has an affluent project pipeline to develop & construct 15 further plants, 6 of which are currently under construction. Each project is valued at circa £25m.
The Team comprises of a high pedigree of renewable energy & bioenergy professionals, however in keeping with their ambitions, they seek an astute & experienced Project Manager to support their growth further.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering lead on projects throughout the entirety of their lifecycle.
Oversee & drive the timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, timely & safely.
Complete contract documentation and manage the supply chain through the procurement, engineering, implementation, commissioning and handover phases.
Manage site safety, health and environmental issues.
Procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors
Prepare technical specifications and documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar.
Experience in Anaerobic Digestion, Bioenergy, energy from waste, Biogas/Biomethane, liquid organic waste management and/or biomethane injection preferred.
Understanding regulations and guidance for CNG, Biomethane, CO2 capture, DSEAR regulations and Biogas/biomethane technologies. Production of process calculations, Process flow diagrams and developing specifications (Highly valued in Candidates)
Full Driving licence & ability to travel to sites as required to achieve the role.
