A bit about you:

It’s an exciting time to be joining Ogilvy Consulting. We’re growing and we’re hiring Consulting Analysts.

Our Consulting Analysts have one-to-three years of experience in consulting or client-side strategy roles or have recently earned relevant degrees. They bring unique blends of creative thinking, strategic depth, and analytical skills, but most of all, they have decided that while consulting is path, they want to pursue, they want to do it in a place that brings business and brand strategy together with creativity and executability. Our consulting analysts begin as generalists and may work across projects in Brand & Marketing Strategy, Business Transformation, Sustainability and Behavioural Science. Over your

time as an Analyst, you’ll have the exposure across our practices you begin thinking about where you will specialise as you evolve and advance through the group.

In addition to this the responsibilities for this role are:

  • Performing desktop research & analysing industry and competitor trends
  • Conducting data gathering interviews and capturing the key points
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Designing and analysing market research
  • Participating in growth conversations with existing and prospective clients
  • Support in the development of business and brand growth strategies and solutions
  • Taking ownership of client deliverables and presentations with a strong visual clarity and strategic rigor
  • Development of and participation in client workshops
  • Contributing to and managing new business proposals and pitches
  • Conducting competitor analyses that drive unique insights
  • Representing and maintaining the Ogilvy Growth & Innovation standard of excellence in consulting, rigour, and creativity
  • Contributing to Ogilvy Growth & Innovation thought leadership

Skills and Attributes:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a consultancy, client strategy position or equivalent strategic role in professional services specialising in Business Transformation
  • An interest and developing specialism in Business Transformation that might include Digital / Marketing Transformation, Go-To-Market Strategy, Organisation Design, Human Capital Optimisation or Change Management
  • Adept at framing problems, developing solution hypotheses, and identifying creative paths to growth
  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, especially in high-pressure situations
  • Strong work ethic with superior attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, Keynote a plus
