The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and improving our online presence, focusing on user-centric design and accessibility.

Role Overview: As a Content Designer, you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, updating, and reviewing content across various digital platforms. Working closely with our Digital Communications Manager, you will contribute to enhancing user experiences on our website, intranet, and microsites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and end users to drive improvements in our online services.
  • Utilize evidence, data, and research to make informed content decisions.
  • Ensure content aligns with usability and accessibility principles for a seamless user experience.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, negotiating and influencing effectively.
  • Champion user research and advocate for accessibility in content design approaches.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered content design and end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Proficiency in content concepts, prototyping, and establishing content patterns.
  • Knowledge of user testing methodologies for forms and third-party solutions.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary teamwork and collaborative processes.
  • Technical experience with content strategies, UX impact assessment, and Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal).
  • Expertise in online user testing tools, media creation software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat), and social media management.
