As our new Editor of Cyber Security, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class commercial and informational content within the cyber security space on Business2Community. You will support the Managing Editor and Head of Content with editing, publishing, briefing, and content strategy, while working closely with the SEO team. You will also on occasion write and improve content on the site and manage a team of writers (both in-house and freelance) to deliver on publication deadlines, ensuring the published work is of the highest quality, generating great brand growth and traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Owning the website section, with support, to grow content quality and traffic
• Commissioning and briefing content to staff and freelance writers using industry trends and keyword research
• Ensuring the writing adheres to best-in-class SEO techniques
• Editing, formatting, and publishing content on Business2Community
• Updating existing articles to improve authority and ranking
• Auditing the cyber security content suite to spot content gaps, old content, and new opportunities
• Managing writers to hit deadlines and produce quality work
• Vetting and onboarding new freelance and staff writers
• Supporting Managing Editors and Head of Content with product and category research, becoming an expert in their space

Requirements:

• Experience in writing and editing within the cybersecurity space
• Managing a content pipeline and working closely with the content team to hit publication deadlines
• Proficiency in using WordPress (CMS), and familiarity with data and performance tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush
• Demonstrate exceptional project management skills
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
