Job description: Qualitair are working with an entrepreneurial general aviation client who are seeking to appoint a Continuing Airworthiness Administrator.

The role is based at their newly refurbished facility in Essex and the successful candidate will show an ability to streamline the technical records for client’s aircraft, ensuring all Company and customer technical records remain compliant with procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Collect all paperwork from check management and review and file accordingly ensuring all if any corrections are distributed to relevant persons/departments.
  • Perform audits of ATL (Aircraft Technical Logs) pages, work packs, engineering documentation and any further documents denoting maintenance carried out.
  • Be onsite customer focal for any technical records queries before, during and after maintenance visits.
  • Carry out random and scheduled quality checks on documentation. Compile reports and feedback to the Lead Engineer and maintenance team.
  • Create and distribute monthly metrics on technical records/issues.
  • Scan and file all documentation in the correct location and format according to local procedure.
  • Use MTRAX to support Technical Records activities and other requirements.
  • Where possible carry out tasks, within capabilities, to assist other departments within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with Lead Engineer during the preparation and execution of maintenance projects.

Key skills:

  • Excellent with Excel and other Microsoft software.
  • Training will be given, then be able to work unsupervised to exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment are essential.
  • Strong analytical and identification skills to evaluate information from multiple sources.
