Job description: We are currently recruiting for a SC cleared Senior Contracts Manager on behalf of a major Government Organisation in the Nuclear industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high profile Organisation working on one of the largest Programmes within the Government. You will secure an 18 months contract with potential to be extended, thus enjoying all the benefits of long term job security.
You will work remotely 60% – 80% of the time with just 1-2 days/week on the client’s site or suppliers sites.
The Senior Contracts Manager will:
- Act as subject matter expert for assigned contracts, providing professional advice to enable business to effectively deliver contract objectives
- Ensure all contracts, they are responsible for, have a robust Contract Management Plan with defined procedure for delivery performance management, invoice applications, risk management and contract reviews
- Ensure contracts are delivered in accordance with business management system, priorities and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation
- Implement the Supplier Relationship Management framework for assigned key suppliers, support the development and drive the implementation of Supplier Strategies
- Support procurement activity through providing best practice contact advice to develop contract templates and bespoke terms
Skills and experience required:
- Experience supporting large, complex programmes
- Industry experience
- NEC experience and construction experience
- Experience supporting large, complex Programmes
- Active, current SC clearance
