Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Events Manager to lead our efforts in planning and executing impactful events worldwide, including both self-hosted events and participation in international exhibitions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of orchestrating high-profile events with international senior participants from diverse backgrounds and corporations. This role requires an individual with deep knowledge of the payments industry, fintech trends, and cross-border businesses, coupled with exceptional events management skills. What you’ll do:
- Global Events Planning: Conceptualise, plan, and execute high-calibre global events with participants up to 500 attendees, including both self-hosted events and participation in exhibitions, such as conferences, forums, summits, seminars, and industry expos.
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with senior executives, government officials, industry leaders, and corporate partners to ensure their participation and engagement in global events.
- Strategic Vision: Develop a strategic vision for each event, aligning it with the company’s goals, industry trends, and the unique needs of diverse participants.
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee all aspects of event execution, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, content development, speaker coordination, marketing, and post-event analysis.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with event vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary services and resources.
- Content Development: Work closely with content teams to develop engaging event agendas, presentations, panels, and discussions that align with industry trends and audience expectations.
- Global Perspective: Leverage your knowledge of the payment industry, fintech advancements, and cross-border business dynamics to curate relevant event themes and discussions.
- Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships within the payment, fintech, and cross-border business sectors to stay informed about trends and leverage opportunities for event collaborations.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience in corporate events management, with a focus on planning and executing global events for senior participants.
- Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale, high-profile events involving international senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry, fintech trends, and cross-border business dynamics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and stakeholders effectively.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and formats that resonate with diverse participants.
- Flexibility to travel internationally as required for event planning and execution.
- Familiarity with vendor resources, compliance and regulatory considerations in the payments and fintech industry is advantageous.
