Job description: Are you a skilled and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) looking for an exciting opportunity? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our Community Forensic Team based in East Sussex. Position: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse Team: Community Forensic Team Location: East Sussex Duration: ASAP Start Schedule: Part remote role with in-person duties Rate of Pay: £32.40 to £34.40 Per Hour

Your Role:

As a Band 6 CPN with our Community Forensic Team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional mental health care services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and interventions for individuals within the forensic mental health system.
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing support and guidance to service users to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Liaising with external agencies, families, and carers to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to address complex mental health needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD).
  • Previous experience working in a community psychiatric nursing role, preferably within a forensic setting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Car driver with access to own vehicle.
