Creative Software Instructor at Leeds Arts University
Job Description
Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
As part of the Academic Computing team, the successful applicant will instruct and support students primarily at our Further Education site (through delivered instructional sessions and 1-to-1 support) in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software, providing students with the digital skills that underpin their academic work. The team also supports large format printing and audio-visual equipment across all teaching rooms and the lecture theatre.
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and occasional weekends will be required.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. They should have a strong practical knowledge of relevant hardware and software and be able to relate well to a wide range of students.
