Job description: We’re seeking an astute and diligent Credit Admin to join our Accounting & Finance team in the retail sector. The ideal candidate is expected to process, verify, and maintain accounting documents and records, specifically relating to credit.

• Processing credit-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verifying accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.
• Maintaining accounting records through an organised filing system.
• Supporting the accounting team in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.
• Developing and maintaining positive client relationships through effective communication and prompt handling of problems and complaints.
• Compiling reports and tables related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensuring compliance with standard procedures and controls.
• Assisting with month-end financial reports as directed.

A successful Credit Admin should have:

• A solid foundation in Accounting and Finance or strong admin skills
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and best practices.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
