We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Credit Control Analyst to join a small but growing team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the financial success of the company and grow their career in the insurance industry.Responsibilities:

• Conduct credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, chasing overdue payments, and reconciling accounts
• Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update internal systems accordingly
• Analyse credit risk and provide recommendations to management for risk mitigation strategies
• Prepare regular reports on account receivables, aging analysis, and credit exposure for management review
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to credit control and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit control within the insurance industry preferably within a Lloyd’s syndicate
• Strong understanding of insurance premium accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
