Job description: The Credit Controller position is an essential role in our Accounting & Finance department, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts from customers within the Health care industry.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Monitor and maintain customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Resolve customer discrepancies and short payments.
- Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
- Make recommendations to improve the quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
- Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments.
Hybrid working|Exposure within the Public sector
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- High proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
