Job description: Credit Controller – WidnesSalary: £28,000About the Credit Controller role:
Working as part of the finance team in the UK, reporting the to Management Accountant in the UK and some interaction with our international office where applicable, you will help to maintain effective credit control systems.Responsibilities for the Credit Controller will include:
- Support the finance function.
- Specialise in credit control.
- Direct contact with the account base regarding AR.
- Assist in the maintenance of cleaning the debtors ledger.
- Assist in maximizing cash collections
- Ensure that cash collected is accurately allocated against customer accounts
- Provide comprehensive support to the accounting function
- General administration tasks including sending out copies of invoices/statements
- Run weekly and monthly performance reports
- Deal with customer queries
- Liaise with wider business to facilitate the resolution of any queries
- Identification of bad debts (and over payments) escalate these items.
- Maintain financial ledgers.
- Ensure payments are reconciled in full.
About You:
- Strong administration skills with a good level of literacy and numeracy
- Strong IT skills, especially within Microsoft Excel and Word
- High levels of attention to detail
- Team player with good communication and timekeeping skills
