Job description: Job DescriptionJob Title: CRM Business AnalystLocation: Edinburgh/LondonDepartment / Team: CRM TeamBusiness Unit / Division: Investments – DistributionReports to: Head of CRM and Client DataAbout The DepartmentThe CRM Team is responsible for the delivery of the technology toolset required to maximise sales opportunities and selling time, through the identification and implementation of technology and analytics solutions focused on Salesforce and partner applications. Salesforce is also central to wider abrdn business functions, including Marketing for campaign management, Finance performance reporting and Client Service onboarding and risk management. The CRM team sits within the Investment Vector Client Group Function.About The RoleThe role of the business analyst is to work with abrdn functions to articulate and document technology requirements and thereafter to introduce solutions, through Salesforce change, as part of the Client Data Transformation project.Key Outcomes / Responsibilities:
- Lead business teams in the articulation and documentation of CRM requirements, as part of wider corporate projects or individual Salesforce initiatives.
- Facilitate business solutions, via utilisation of technology solutions plus process development and improvements
- Manage the CRM delivery lifecycle, from user story creation to configuration development or IT liaison/handover, UAT management and release management.
- CRM configuration and administration
- Build and develop Salesforce / CRM Analytics datasets, reports and dashboards
- Manage data initiatives including creation and load of information to Salesforce from external sources
- Provide data analysis and insight to business teams, supporting the identification of business opportunities and risk threats
- Create and deliver both business presentations and training materials
- Communicate with Stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
- Keep abreast with sales technology developments in the market and propose solutions
About the Candidate RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will need (minimum experience/ requirements)
- Business Analysis background with a few years’ experience creating user stories, process maps, UAT scripts and training materials
- Solid experience on Agile projects
- Previous CRM experience, delivering small change, preferably to an administration level
- Stakeholder management experience to senior management level
- Asset management background, with understanding of Wholesale and Institutional client requirements
Ideal Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Agile Certification
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
