The Role

The CRM & Digital Marketing Manager will join the Marketing team at a key moment of growth for the business as they prepare for scale, open new hubs, and grow our member base in their existing locations. The CRM & Digital Marketing Manager will join a talented team of specialist marketeers in their central marketing team who work with all teams across the business to support business growth and retention. We are looking for a self-starter, who can roll up their sleeves to create and execute a robust digital strategy for them. You’ll play a crucial role in deploying their new HubSpot CRM system, helping them improve their user flows and develop new ones as they develop new areas of the website. You will work with the digital performance agency on effective strategies for building out localised customer target segments and targeted lead generation campaigns. You will also work with the agency and wider marketing team building out a reporting structure to inform future marketing investments in digital spend.

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for the effective deployment and optimisation of their new CRM system and the development of Digital Marketing ecosystem, so we are looking for candidates who have had experience with both. The core priorities of the role are CRM user flow development, email automations and paid campaigns for lead gen to support our hub targets. The role will include:

CRM:

  • Managing our contact database, driving significant growth through acquisition and retention, developing segmentation strategies for effective targeting of future campaigns, and keeping all data clean and accurate.
  • Managing the day-to-day use and optimisation of HubSpot working closely with our sales and locations team to connect all data points and user flows.
  • Working with our Project Manager to prioritise and action internal CRM requests for support, training, issues, new functionality etc.
  • Leading CRM integration with any new page additions to the website, primarily via lead gen forms.
  • Assisting setting up the digital presence of brand-new locations or programmes, supported by the New Locations Marketing Manager. This could include landing pages, data capture forms for the website, replicating existing workflows and automated emails to facilitate each new location’s lead generation and nurture.
  • Testing user journeys to ensure CRM workflows are correctly set up and identifying any areas for improvements.
  • Developing the email and data segmentation strategy for both members and external contacts with the Head of Marketing to drive higher engagement and retention.
  • Implementing the email marketing strategy, including end-to-end delivery of all campaigns. Experience using HubSpot and experience with automation management is beneficial.
  • Monitoring email performance and deliverability and make recommendations for ongoing improvements.

Digital Marketing:

  • Optimising marketing campaigns across all digital touch points to drive brand awareness and create revenue and / or customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Managing our digital agency who execute our PPC and Paid Social campaigns, owning the relationship and workflow to ensure they have all the materials they need to succeed and holding them to account based on set and agreed objectives and targets.
  • Working with the Location Marketing Managers to ensure campaign objectives are in line with the Location Marketing Strategy lead goals and delivering on them.
  • Supporting and collaborating with the social and content team in the development of a content strategy that drives engagement and high-quality follower growth.
  • Assisting the team with website updates using our CMS Webflow as well as contributing to the larger website projects harnessing your specialist skills.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and campaign performance reports across all channels, highlighting achievements, insights and lessons learnt informing a plan to further drive performance and ROI improvement.
  • Solid knowledge and track record of building growth through SEO and local SEO
  • Experience with Paid Social and PPC and strong experience using Google Ads
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics (and comfortable using GA4) as well as Tag Manager, Search Console, Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Business Manager

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong digital marketing experience.
  • Strong SEO copywriting experience, particularly with functional website, email and landing page copy.
  • Good knowledge of SEO.
  • Extensive CRM/ESP integration and systems experience, HubSpot preferred.
  • Creative, analytical, and commercially driven.
  • Exceptional skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Team collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of experience design is a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working in startups or scaleups.
  • Ability to lead training sessions and mentor colleagues with using HubSpot to ensure adoption throughout the business.
