The opportunity
University of the Arts London, School of Pre-Degree Studies is seeking to appoint a Curriculum Leader for the Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education – Preparation for Design, Media and Screen.
This exciting and challenging course allows students to develop their creative, academic, and professional potential in design, media and screen in preparation for undergraduate study.
The Curriculum Leader will be responsible to the Course Director for the academic leadership and management of the curriculum. You will lead the day-to-day management of the course, including all areas of learning, teaching, and student assessment.
The post-holder will work closely with the Course Director and collaboratively within a team, deploying specialist expertise to develop innovative pedagogy.

About you
The role requirements include holding an undergraduate degree and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant arts and design subject; a PG Cert teaching qualification as well as detailed knowledge of a relevant aspect of arts and design practice, including contemporary international practices.
Experience of teaching and assessment in a FE/Pre-degree environment would be valuable for this role as would be the ability to suggest practical solutions to new or unique problems and apply innovative digital approaches to curriculum leadership, teaching, learning or professional practice to support excellent teaching, pedagogy and inclusion.
