Randox Toxicology and Randox Food Diagnostics is welcoming applications from Scientists wishing to join our Sales and Marketing Team as a Customer Support Scientist. This role will involve the provision of customer support to new and existing Randox Toxicology and Randox Food Diagnostics and Randox Food Diagnostics.
The Role:
- Developing of a high degree of product knowledge covering all Randox Toxicology and Food Diagnostics product groups.
- Providing customer support in a timely manner, troubleshooting of customer queries.
- Providing product training, information and advice via email, telephone, and face to face.
- Responsible for developing good lines of communication within and between inter-dependent departments.
- Conducting reviews and analysis of performance data and comparative studies.
- Frequent travel to customer sites for instillations, demonstrations, and product training.
- The use of query-logging software to record and monitor the status of customer and internal queries.
- Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.

The Candidate:
Essential
- A bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a Life Science related discipline (2:1 or above).
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and confidence with dealing with customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Ability to work to strict timeframes and meet deadlines.
- A willingness to develop a high level of product knowledge.
- A valid driving licences.
- A willingness and availability for international travel.
Desirable:
- A second language.
- Previous experience with manual assays.
For those without access to a vehicle, Randox also offers a free shuttle service 6 times daily between Antrim Train and bus Depot and all of our Antrim town and Crumlin sites.
