Job description: Are you passionate about cybersecurity and looking for a challenging role in a reputable financial services organisation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to be a crucial member of our client’s first line defense against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and threat detection utilising a variety of tools to monitor network and system security and identify threats.
- Respond to and contain security breaches through documentation and incident reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses across systems, applications and infrastructure, and support internal and external audits.
- Participate in and contribute to cyber awareness training.
About You:
- Certified in cybersecurity, ideally CompTIA Security+ / CISSP / CEH.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IT, Cybersecurity).
- Understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a financial services organisation.
- Familiarity with risk management and control frameworks.
- Microsoft security product familiarity.
- Cloud computing environment knowledge e.g. Azure / AWS.
