A prestigious global organisation known for its commitment to life-saving technology solutions are currently seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join their team.

Cyber Security Architect Responsibilities:

  • IoT Security Expertise: Apply your deep knowledge of IoT applications to assess, devise, and implement security measures that safeguard IoT devices, data, and networks.
  • Security Architecture: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures that align with business objectives and industry best practices, ensuring a robust cybersecurity framework.
  • SecDevOps Integration: Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to infuse security practices into the software development and deployment lifecycle, promoting a security-first culture.
  • Threat Assessment: Conduct threat assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability assessments to pinpoint and address security threats and vulnerabilities across the organization.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including the development and execution of incident response plans, to effectively manage security incidents promptly.
  • M&A Integration: If applicable, leverage your M&A experience to evaluate the security posture of acquired entities and seamlessly integrate them into the client’s security ecosystem.
  • Security Policies and Standards: Create and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and technologies, proactively recommending and implementing security measures to address evolving risks.

Cyber Security Architect Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect with a focus on IoT applications.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Strong SecDevOps background, with a solid grasp of DevSecOps principles.
  • Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) security assessments and integrations is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
