You’ll integrate into an ambitious global cyber security function, setting and driving the cybersecurity strategy for ScottishPower and the Iberdrola group. Part of a team of security architects, you’ll work closely within the organisations as trusted technical and security process advisors, seeking out opportunities to use technology to deliver services more effectively, being accountable for delivery, working with internal and external parties.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll contribute to the security architecture and roadmap, helping define the overall Cyber Security strategy. You’ll work with various teams across Cyber Security and IT on the selection, acquisition, design, development, and implementation of new solutions, functionality, and frameworks.
You’ll provide proactive technology solution support in the analysis, design, planning, and implementation of security solutions both on premises and in the cloud.
There will be opportunities to seek out cybersecurity technology trends, investigating new and emerging technologies to increase Scottish Power’s Cyber Security capabilities.
Other aspects of the role include partnering with solution architects to design new applications, defining solutions to meet technical and business security requirements, producing technical design documents and ensuring our global technology teams deliver quality services.
What we’re looking for
Security Architecture solution design experience
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and Information Security standards.
An understanding of cloud security
Good stakeholder management experience
A keen interest and passion for Cyber Security
This role may suit someone who is looking to move fully into architecture and carve out their career
