Bristol (Hybrid Working)

£50,000 per annum

iO Associates are partnered with one of the largest and most successful names within engineering who are, due to continued success, looking to hire another Cyber Security Consultant to specialise within the defence sector. You will be expected to provide advice and guidance for clients in ‘business as usual’ and for new projects alike, by using knowledge of Defence security policies and procedures to enable business objectives.

The Cyber Security Consultant will also conduct and manage security assurance activities of Defence systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and secure use in operational environments. You will also be expected to perform Cyber Security risk assessments, determining the most cost-effective deployment of security controls and solutions in line with business risk appetite.

Essential:

  • Experience delivering cyber security consultancy
  • Experience deploying information security controls and risk assessments
  • A broad awareness of security standards and frameworks across Government and industry
  • Ability to articulate syber Security advice both at a technical and non-technical level to stakeholders and customers of all levels
  • Experience with IT computer systems and interconnecting systems and networks
