What does the role involve?
Reporting to our Cyber Security Manager, as a Cyber Security Lead, you’ll lead the security testing function to organise and deliver security testing to our key business applications at Novuna. You’ll have the autonomy to carve out and shape how we deliver security testing to the business and will have the opportunity to work from remotely, with travel to the office once a month for team meetings.

Some of your key duties will include:
- Planning and organising the execution of security testing to key business applications and infrastructure
- Communicating timescales and building relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Working with product owners and stakeholders to mitigate risks identified as a result of the security tests
- Providing support to the Security Operations team when needed
What are we looking for?
You’ll have good knowledge of cyber security and will be passionate about delivering solutions that keep businesses and customers safe. You’ll have great communication skills and will be able to built rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
Also, we’re looking for the following:
- Good working knowledge of vulnerability management tools (e.g. Qualys, AWS Inspector, Microsoft Defender)
- Good knowledge of security testing processes and methodologies
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon and scenarios to a variety of audiences
