The role

We are currently looking for a Reporting Analyst to join ITV’s Cyber Security team.

This is a hands-on role working with the latest technologies from cloud service providers

to visualise, analyse, and interpret data sets to provide the Cyber Security team and ITV with valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making. It’s a key role in both ITV’s wider data vision and the Cyber Security team’s localised data strategy.

It’s an exciting opportunity to really make a difference to our ‘More than TV’ strategy and

help secure some of the UK’s best loved content.

The role will entail but not be limited to:

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, insights and collate findings for key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business decisions and measure and track performance
  • Transform data using SQL into actionable analytics solutions
  • Develop and maintain company dashboards, reports, and visualisations to effectively communicate data findings to the Awareness Manager, wider Cyber Team and stakeholders
  • Regularly report on findings related to KPI’s to support Cyber Securities maturity and reporting objectives.
  • Use findings to help develop training programmes that target and close identified business critical skills gaps
  • Ensure valuable data collection is built in to all training programmes by providing creative guidance during design phases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality to ensure accurate and reliable analysis
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in data analysis
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimise data models and infrastructure

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Proven work experience as a Reporting Analyst or a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering insights and recommendations based on data analysis
  • A proven interest in Cyber Security and an understanding of the role metrics and reporting play in awareness and training in this field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar)
