Business Area Overview

Growing our UK and global production base is central to our More than TV strategy. We are the largest producer in the UK, one of the largest producers in Europe and one of the largest independent unscripted producers in the US.

Our Cyber Security team is responsible for ITV’s Cyber Security Risk management process including Supply chain risks and supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of core group level security policies, technical standards and guidelines. Our team works with our wider colleagues to embed and advise on Cyber risk and threats within our day to day operations.

The role

  • Maintain and improve ITV Cyber Risk and data analysis capability for the benefit of the Cyber Security team and wider ITV
  • Carry out risk assessment for ITV’s suppliers and engage with business and supplier stakeholders to remediate and reduce risk to within ITV risk appetite and tolerance
  • Support the ongoing risk analysis of new and existing Cloud applications utilised within ITV to support whitelisted applications and reducing the the use of high risk applications
  • Regularly maintain Cyber Security documentation, i.e. Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Process. Where gaps are identified, establish and embed new standards and processes to address the gaps and associated risks, continually improve and automate where possible
  • Work with ITV technology teams to embed and provide oversight of technical standard
  • Utilise and improve relevant security data sources to provide analysis and insights to inform on risk trends and emerging threats
  • Assist the Cyber Security team to help deliver training and awareness across ITV

Qualifications: (Desirable)

  • Computer Science Degree or Technical Engineering based subject
  • A GIAC or SANS related qualification
  • CISSP or equivalent
  • Risk Management qualification

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Deep knowledge of Cyber Risk and how it applies to different environments and services
  • Hands on technical experience, particularly involving cloud and collaboration applications
  • Ability to map and embed process workflows into underpinning tooling and enable automation and continually mature and innovate
  • Strong knowledge of Security control frameworks
