This is a fantastic opportunity to join Rotork, a FTSE 250 organisation, in an exciting part of our global transformation. It will be supporting the Finance Transformation Programme as we migrate from our legacy finance systems to our global ERP system (Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations).

Job Description

This is an 18 Month FTC

This role is responsible for supporting the Finance Transformation function deliver the Finance Optimisation programme, in particular the migration of ~60 ledgers across 40 locations from legacy finance systems to our global ERP system, D365.

You will support the finance transformation team and the D365 change programme to ensure finance end users are fully trained on D365 and are able do their jobs when the migrate to D365.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare the content for any change management workshops, taking users through the key areas of change, drawing out high level discussion on potential changes between as “is” and “to be”
  • Develop questionnaires to identify any
  • concerns local teams have about implementing the change
  • gaps between the global process and their needs
  • unique local requirements
  • Work with the Senior Process Analyst and Finance Systems Manager to consider if change from the global process can be accepted and if the difference will be managed through configuration or Change Management
  • Where additional localisation is required, work with the Finance Systems Team, IT teams and external Finance Systems Partners to translate finance needs into system configuration requirements.
  • Supporting each finance team during go live, ensuring they understand how to use D365 as they start to transact in the new system
  • Where the change from current ways of working needs to be managed, identify, monitor and manage any actions required to prepare for and embed the change

This role role is based in Bath, with expectation of travel to locations around the world to deliver training and support go live.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • Good level of knowledge and experience of key Finance processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Record to Report, Payroll, Expenses Management across established systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft etc.
  • General awareness of month end processes
  • Knowledge of Project Accounting, Stock & Costing Processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Finance Systems Implementation Experience
