What You’ll Do:
As a Data Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation.
Working in a test organisation that completes thousands of tests annually in the development of speciality chemicals, the tests ranging from single component to complex systems producing billions of data points.
As a Data Analyst through your experience of working with data systems in a technical environment and your skills to analyse and visualise data insights, you will provide support to the test owners to ensure that the data recorded is processed and reported with high integrity, in line with industry and customer requirements.
You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.
What We’re Looking For:
- Support the capture, analysis and reporting of test data utilising a range of business systems.
- Work with test owners to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Validating and transforming test data into an agreed format for analysis and reporting.
- Preferably have some experience of applying data modelling techniques to identify insights.
- Report findings and recommendations to test owners in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate results for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure high integrity.
- Suggest and implement improvements with a proactive and creative approach to improve department efficiency.
Skills That Make a Difference:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technical environment working with a range of business systems.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse, and interpret datasets.
- Preferably have experience in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Be an active team player comfortable interacting with a wide range of work groups, test owners and internal customers.
