About the Role

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, managing, and analysing data to support decision-making and drive business outcomes, as well as continuously improving their processes and automating steps where possible to increase efficiency.

They will work closely with the Reporting and Insight Analysts as well as our individual Centres of Excellence and our Strategic Partner Cognizant to ensure that data is accurate, reliable, functional, and readily available.

Together with the R&I Analysts, they will deliver a comprehensive overview of end-to-end service performance and customer experience. As a crucial member of the team, the Data Aggregator will play a pivotal role in achieving this goal.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • identify and collect relevant data from various sources and document in shared directory processes and logic applied
  • perform quality checks, data cleaning activities, and other data management practices to maintain data integrity
  • integrate the data collected from various sources into a single database or repository. Ensuring that the data is properly organized, categorized, and tagged for easy access and retrieval
  • analyse, interpret and present data in a clear and understandable format
  • work with the Reporting and Insight Analysts to translate technical data into business digestible content
  • identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for data management
  • keep up to date with the latest data processing tools and processes
  • participates in knowledge sharing activities with peers
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data driven strategies and solutions

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in data aggregation or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
  • Able to transform unstructured and poorly structured data into usable formats.
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and skills, with the ability to interpret complex data insights, translating them to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance
  • Demonstratable knowledge of business operations functions, such as inventory management, supply chain processes, warehouse operations, customer services, sales operations, etc.

Desirable:

  • Experience translating technical content into business ready materials
  • Experience with Alteryx
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau
  • Working experience of SAP
