Our Business Intelligence team enable us to use data to deliver a competitive advantage and drive business insights.We are looking for Data Analyst to support our Information Delivery function. This role would suit a candidate who already has some previous working experience in a Business Intelligence role / Data analytics and reporting role, Curious about technology, and seeking to develop a career in this space. This role can be based in either our London or Birmingham offices.This is a great opportunity to enhance your experience and knowledge in performing key Data Extraction, Transformation, Process Automation and Solution delivery functions using a range of Data sources and Business Intelligence tools while interacting with a range of business teams, functions and stakeholders. The role will allow you the opportunity to develop your knowledge in Insurance, compliance and the regulatory market.Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.This role is eligible for a £1500 new joiner bonus. • Execute a range of Data Extraction, transformation and manipulation activities
• Develop knowledge of Business Intelligence products, tools and data sources
• Learn how to develop, compile, and prepare reports and dashboard solutions
• Engage in analysing existing Data Extraction and delivery processes to provide ideas on process streamline and automation approach and go on to implement your ideas.
• Learn how to perform solution design functions.
• Learn how to complete root cause analysis.
• Assist in the execution of unit and integration testing; complete system testing as directed. (Completed with specific guidance on tasks to be completed and how to complete tasks).
• Support the transition and production process; develops documentation (Knowledge Acquisitions Process document) for all deliverables before moving to production so that it can be supported on ongoing basis.
• Becoming familiar with the strategic plan for Information Delivery.
• Participate in the development of project plans and carries out assigned tasks.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Experience and proficiency working with SQL and Relational Databases.
• Experience and proficiency working with analytic tools/models preferred.
• Emerging knowledge of Information Delivery concepts.
• Emerging Knowledge: Beginning to understand basic principles and terminology.

What is a Must Have?

• Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Experience and proficiency working with Excel (Vlookup, Xlookup, Match Function)
• Advanced Data Analysis skills
