This full-time permanent data analyst role comes with a salary of £30,631 and fantastic benefits. The role can be based at any office outside London; however we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on site contact days with other members if the team, normally 1-2 days a week.As a Data Analyst, you will support the data reporting function across our investment programmes through the provision of information and data and the maintenance records of management databases.You will be part of a small team, responsible for extracting, transforming and presenting data in a variety of ways, to suit different stakeholders and business needs. This could be guidance interpretation, technical issues or analytical support, or helping colleagues to collate and enter their data accurately.In this Data Analyst role, you can expect to:

  • Have responsibility for the analysis of data to identify trends and insights, which will then be presented in a format (such as MS Excel, MS PowerBi) that is user friendly and easy to communicate to various stakeholders.
  • Confidently use relational databases, such MS SQL Server for extracting and transforming large complex datasets, which includes historic data.
  • Assist the Senior Analyst, Data Analysis, to process and validate operational reports for regular reporting across the organisation.

To succeed in this role you will have good analytical skills, an eye for detail and the ability to synthesise large quantities of information and data and communicate them in a clear and confident manner.You will have experience of extracting, cleansing and transforming data using business intelligence tools and presenting the data to a variety of stakeholders.You will be skilled at understanding user requirements and have excellent written and oral communication skills and have the ability to succinctly convey your findings and recommendations.You will have an excellent working knowledge of SQL (ideally Transact-SQL) within relational databases to access and manipulate data.
