Job description: An innovative biotech in Cambridge is expanding and looking to take on an experienced Data Engineer to help build their analytics systems.
This exciting new role will give the Data Engineer an opportunity to thrive within a forward-thinking environment that places innovation above all else. You will be working closely with bioinformatics experts, data scientists and software engineers with the aim of unlocking the value of generated data.
The Data Engineer will help design, implement, and operate the internal data infrastructure and pipeline architecture that will be supporting the company’s scientists and engineers decision-making processes, often with complex parameters. You will be playing a key role in the company’s data strategy which will help shape future research and development.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need the following;

Prior data engineering experience in industry, with ETL pipeline knowledge.

Experience with both structured and unstructured data sets, coupled with both SQL and NoSQL knowledge.

li
AWS cloud experience and/or working within a biotech would be an advantage to your application.
