About the Job

The Dean of Campus at OBC Nottingham plays a pivotal role, reporting to the Chief Academic Officer. Responsibilities encompass translating the shared vision into actionable steps, overseeing modernisation projects, and ensuring the effective running of the campus. The Dean provides strategic leadership, emphasising safety, well-being, and excellence in research and teaching. Talent management, community collaboration, and adherence to regulatory requirements are vital aspects of this multifaceted leadership position. 

About You

The ideal candidate for the Dean of Campus (Nottingham) position should have a postgraduate qualification in education, business administration, or a related field. Desirable qualifications include Senior or Principal fellowship of Advance HE and a PhD. Essential experience involves leadership in enhancing campus operations, achieving high statistical results, and understanding UK Higher Education policies. Desirable qualifications encompass overseeing modernisation projects, hands-on experience with technical innovation, and previous roles in private higher education. Essential skills include strong leadership, motivating diverse teams, problem-solving, financial understanding, and effective communication. Behavioural attributes include commitment to a student-centred approach, strong leadership qualities, adaptability, high ethical standards, resilience, and alignment with the college’s core values.
